This summer we’re starting new small groups! We’ll continue to host Renew Worship Gatherings once a month, but on the other weeks we’ll enjoy some great small group community. We’ll be posting some promo videos for each group in the next few days. The groups start on May 24th. Go ahead and email Brad when you’re ready to sign up at brad@trinityworship.net. Here are the group descriptions!
1) Campus Alpha (Thursdays at 7:00pm) —- led by Sarah Miller /// Campus Alpha looks at the basic questions & beliefs of the Christian faith. For anyone looking for a firm foundation or interested in leading an Alpha Group in the fall.
2) City Worship/Prayer (Thursdays at 6:30pm) —- led by Taylor Moser /// City Worship/Prayer is all about interceding, praying, & seeking God’s will for our ministry, church, & city. There will times of music, free-flowing prayer, & studying Psalms. For anyone who wants to go deeper in their prayer life.
3) The Explicit Gospel (Sundays at 7:00pm) —- led by the Chandlers /// The Explicit Gospel group will look at Matt Chandler’s new book, exploring the essence of the gospel. For anyone who wants to go deep in Word/book study, seeking after a gospel-centered theology & lifestyle.
Via Dolorosa, which is Latin for the Way of Suffering, is the name for the actual route that Jesus followed after his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane until his crucifixion. Today and throughout history many Christians of all denominations have followed this route throughout the city of Jerusalem. This year for Good Friday here at Trinity Worship Center we want to bring a very similar environment to you! The idea is to create a feel that truly makes us think about and deeply consider everything that Jesus faced leading up to his death on the cross. This night will consist of an interactive walkthrough journey that focuses on different stories and passages of Scripture contained within The Gospels and beyond that truly allow us to focus on the magnitude of what Jesus our Savior sacrificed for us.
The Via Dolorosa Good Friday Experience will take place on Friday, April 6th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Childcare will be provided. The entire experience should take around an hour and will end with a time of worship in the main sanctuary. We really look forward to your joining us for this amazing night and encourage you to be in prayer for people you can invite.
If you’re interested in volunteering for this event, helping donate materials, or if you have any questions at all, please contact Zach Thrift via email at s.zpthrift@ec.edu OR via phone at 706.338.3946.
Did you get our postcard in the mail? If so, we can’t wait to see you on Sunday Nights at 7PM for Renew! If you have any questions or thoughts email Brad Chandler at brad@trinityworship.net or add us on Facebook. The best way to find out what Renew is all about though is to come and experience it for yourself!

Hey guys! There will be no Renew service for the next two weeks (November 27th & December 4th) due to the Thanksgiving holidays and Christmas Musical at Trinity. Spend some time with friends & family, maybe even get some Renew folks together at your home. And don’t miss the kids’ Christmas Musical on December 4th. We will close out the year with our final service on December 11th. See you then!
